HIG to invest 'heavily' in PWH

Just heard on Radio Norfolk News that the news owners of Pleasurewood, HIG, plan to heavily invest in the park.

Apparently they're going to be pumping millions of Euro's into Pleasurewood, to modernise the park, and addiding lots of new rides!

That was pretty much the exact words of the news bulletin.....

Woop woop? I think so....

That is fantastic news! Hopefully starting in 2012!

I think what Grevin & Cie did for the park paved the way for this new investment company to come in and spend big. The park has never looked better in my opinion so if this new company can come in and see the potential of the park and are will to invest heavily that is great news. Perhaps some rides have been earmarked for removal hence why SITG has an unfinished tunnel? Can't wait to see what the future holds. :)

^ Hmm, SNIG's tunnel was ruined a year ago, so thats probably unlikely.

One thing though, they may be willing to invest heavily, but isn't most decisons about new rides etc made by the park manager?

Ohhh, sounds very promising. But not getting my hopes up too much....... Strange as it sounds i'm looking forward to the next off season, hopefully we'll have loads of developments to talk about and look forward to!

I am do deprived of a new ride, I think I'd be happy with some travelling ride new for this summer!lol

They used to do that a lot at Pleasurewood. I think even Mega Drop was a 'new for summer' ride, appearing June-ish.

But again, like I said, if the park manager doesn't want a new ride, we wont get one...

under cda pleasurewood always seemed a bit ignored compared to some of their other parks, even though pwh still gets around 500,000 visitors a year.

Randomly, I know its half that amount because I read something on it yesterday, may have even been on this forum, in the 'park for sale again' topic.
