I'm not on Twitter, so I wont be following them, but they post updates (kind of ) regularly.
So here we can discuss about their updates! (also not the unusual time of most of their updates on Twitter - 1am, 1:30am, 3am....?)
Their most recent post is regards to the Carousel:
‘Our Carousel is having a new look thanks to art students across the region’
No pictures though

last year was the first year in a long time i didn't go but timber looks really good. Just put it in a mountain with a talking rabbit and its disney. well sort of.
What a poor excuse of a post from Pleasurewood! I try not to be so negative - but how can you NOT be. It's absolutely ridiculous. This new management shake-up is just a duplicate of the four year fiasco we had with CdA - delayed site updates, virtually no provisions for replacing/installing new rides and not listening to it's market.
Reiterating the words of Martyn too, the website and map situation is ridiculous - they still think Halloween is in a few weeks' time. I'd have expected some sort of acuity in the takeover. Perhaps it's so 'back-end' that we'll continue to see the same 'front of house' situation in the coming years. If I wanted to play laser tag, I'd go to the Quasar centres in Yarmouth or Norwich - I agree an investment is brilliant, but not this. An unnecessary waste of money!
I have a few questions that I'd like someone to ask Pleasurewood on their Twitter, if they wouldn't mind ;)
- Why hasn't there been any investment in new rides in the last few years? I, like many other people thought the addition of Wipeout of was the start of a new era for Pleasurewood, yet since Wipeout, we haven't seen a single new ride, that makes it 1 new ride since 2006, thats one new ride in 6 seasons, is that really good enough?
- Whats going on with Enigma? Wipeout is a high quality ride, and so is Timber Falls (since the revamp), so why are you letting Enigma just rot away? The ride is starting to look horrible again, and only using one train results in ridiculous queues, and unhappy guests. If the money and effort was put in to it, like it was with Timber Falls, Enigma could be another high quality attraction for the park.
- Whats the deal with Snake in the Grass' tunnel? Why was the original tunnel removed, and why has it been replace with a much smaller, tin tunnel? I agree that the old tunnel had become a little worn down, but this new tunnel doesn't even cover the crest of the hill, so it will always be letting light in, and why hasn't it been themed like the old tunnel?
They've put a few pics up of all the staff training etc:
All I have to say to that is, omg. That lady on left with black hair, white top, she used to be the catering manager before CdA took over, you know when the catering at the park completely sucked? When you'd rather eat dog food than the food they had on offer!!
I so hope she has a different job in a different department!
Their regular activity on Twitter is starting to pay off. The other week they had arond 100 followers, now they're at over 250. Still not a lot, but that is a 150% increase.
Any senior members fancy setting up a quick 'Unofficial Pleasurewood' Facebook account? Just to plug the forum on their wall every now and then, nothing too hard.
They replied to what I said about Enigma, but its not what I was hoping for. They just said basically they're taking the comments on board for the future, its as if they cant see the state the ride is in, and I had to point it out to them....
And they're biggin up this Laser labyrinth too much, like I said on there, if thats a sign of things to come.....woopy.
