Sky Screamer

Nowadays, the biggest complaint we have of Pleasurewood is the lack of the rides in the park, so with that in mind, would you welcome back the Sky Screamer?

Ha brings back memories! I operated this for one season off and on. Great to operate, but way too small and tacky IMO, even back then!

Didn't like it myself, way too fairground and very cramped inside. I never rode it in that location though I swear it was once near the courtyard near where the helper smelter is now.

Edit: Helter Skelter (blooming iPhone!)

Helper Smelter? biggrin.gifbiggrin.gif

I think it had a few locations to be honest.

Seeing pics of it honestly reminds me of the bad times that Pleasurewood was in. I know we dont see many new rides nowadays, but the park is in fantastic condition, and is a million miles away from the fairground it was back then.

Possible Fun Fact: I think this now lives at the small 'Pleasure Beach' in Mablethorpe, though there were probaby hundreds of these contraptions made! wink.gif

Looking at those pics, the park looks far more professional, appealing and attractive now to then. The nasty habbit of dumping rides on some concrete with no queue lane etc is long gone!
