^ Whilst I've always wanted to go on one of these Rapid slides, the general feeling is they're quite dull. I think it'll be a good addition to Thorpe, though I dont no so much about removing a whole kiddies area to accomodate it.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach are opening the new Nickelodeon land.

I was kind of hoping the closure of Loudoun Castle would have created a ride craze for next year, but nothings happened yet.
I dont like the rafs on storm surge and i dont think losing octopus garden was anything worth crying about. Nickelodeon land at BPPB is a good idea i went there in Febuary and apart from Valhalla and a few of the classic rides it feels quite tacky. It sounds a good idea.
There's no certainty as to whether it will be a B&M coaster. The last one at any of the 'big three' was Nemesis Inferno at Thorpe Park.
Plus the area of land adjacent to Stealth (where LC12 is proposed) is moderately small. Generally, B&M rides occupy quite big areas (perhaps Nemesis being the exception).
right i've found 2 more rides. Cartoon Network land at Drayton including Ben 10 Ultimate mission (a kiddie boomerang) not sure how it will work. it also will have more rides. and Peppa pig land at paultons a big land featuring lots of small rides based on the childrens tv program.
with thorpe park opening last weekend for the first time people got to ride their new ride storm surge. The reception was generaly good with people saying it was better than they thought. It has been confirmed that LC12 will be a B&M wing ride similar to the one opening at Gardaland this year. it will be 135 feet making it the secound tallest ride in the park with an apoclyptic theme.
There is some quite exciting stuff this year but 2012 is going to be the one with Thorpe's new coaster! Storm Surge looks quite good and was quite happy to see that head over here after watching videos of it when it was at Cypress Gardens in Florida.
Ben 10 looks like a great little ride. It looks as though the backwards element will just work from the momentum of the ride taking the train up the second hill (unlike traditional Boomerang's with the additional chainlift) so those humps could be quite fun. I really should take a trip up to DM as it looks great and have never been.
