I recently found an old on ride photo of me and a friend on the Log Flume when we were kids. I am about 11 years old here so it's about the 1994/1995 season I think.
Like a true fan I'm the one with the PWH tishirt on! (Matt, feel free to use this in the gallery section of UP)
Does anyone else have any old photos of the park? Post them here if you do.

Yeah I do actually, I have quite a few pics from a dayout. They include the old Trioka, Tempest, Carousel, Eye in the Sky and the large slide! Anyone remember that?
That sounds great Martyn, I for one would love to see those! I visited every year without fail in the 90's, but I almost never thought to take a camera around with me! I really regret it now!
When the ride first opened, they had no ORP, so a bloke standing with a camera would take ur pic, then towards the end of the day you could view and/or buy from one of the shops!
IMO the camera would be much better on the larger drop; people's faces are bound to be much more expression-ate and interesting! The small drop does no justice for the £5 or so pounds it costs for a pic.
After a visit today (i'll do a TR) the camera is still in it's usual spot; though the cueline is MUCH better. It is themed properly, and has log-style 'pillars' right the way along. They've also rotated the photo booth to face the ride, as you get off it.

the photo booth has faced the ride for the last few seasons :)
Haha Martyn, same! Although he did mention that the Log Pillars and the new themeing as separate things so I suppose it depends on the extent of the themeing and they did do quite alot of stuff last season as well.
I do have an old photo of TF when it was just blue and white and you can see just how much it has improved now! I shall add it when I get the chance ( I am in America now!)
Yeah we have to admit that PWH have done a really nice job on sprucing up the log flume. In those photos it looks about 50 years old!! Good to finally clear up the Drift King conundrum!
Pleasurewood Hills have done a really good with the Log Flume, however as the park develops I wouldn't be surprised if they totally redone it and knocked it down and made a new one .
Hardly a "retheme" as they stripped off every bit of themeing! The Cannon Ball express coaster was much better than boring old "Enigma" and there is much more themeing opportunities with Cannon Ball Express!
I thought the ride looked alright by Pleasurewood s standards back then, but now that the park has improved so much you'd really think they would get some proper themeing on this ride and get a proper queue line and also sort out the mechanics of the ride. I mean compare this to the new improved Timber Falls or Wipeout!
The themeing only good when it first opened. They never looked after it, so after a few years it just looks old and tatty. They done a good job of I believe.

What you think ENIGMA looks good?
I think it's perhaps one of the worst looking rides in the park!
Patrick, I wouldn't say it looks good now, but it doesn't exactly look bad either. Anyway, what I was getting was that it looked awful in 2004 (last year as Cannonball) compared to 2005 when it looked brand new. Yeah it looked a bit bland, but rather bland than them tatty old boards that were ment to look like buildings (along the brake run).
Enigma looks ok although there is no theme at all i think the cannonball themeing was pretty bad it looked a bit more like a space landscape then a desert lanscape. the repainting gave it a bit of colour but it still isn't great
