That new ride looks good, although I think the themeing does look abit bare from those photographs- there's something about it that just looks abit worn down, but maybe that is how it's supposed to look?!
Well the tabloid reports state that the girl "plunged 30 feet". The BBC correctly states that she "fell from 14ft". The tabloids also state that she fell through a gap caused by a missing plank on a rope bridge. Again the BBC report that she fell through a gap in the fence cause by a missing slat, supposedly.
The park featured on BBC watchdog last night after rameses revenge was stuck upside down for 3 hours - it also got stuck over easter apprantly....is this the end of the ride ??
That's unfortunate news for the park, especially after the awful accident that happened when a girl fell through the railings of Tomb Blaster queue last year.

Another fire at a Merlin park! Its good that no one was hurt - as these fires suspiciously never seem to break out when there are guests on park! I'm only kidding of course as these things happen.
Merlin will not make a decent effort because they know they can get away with being half-arsed at everything they do, from operations to maintenance to pricing and even park atmosphere/themes, purely because they have what is essentially a complete monopoly over the UK theme park industry. A recent example could be their treatment of colossus and one of its pit areas that, as far as I can make out was flooding and they decided to concrete it, completely detracting from the theme because it would save water being pumped out. Oh, and Heide park's collossos which they let get infected with woodworm rather than implementing proper fail safes. Then you have Alton, where all you have to do to get an impression of their attitude is to use the monorail from the car park, with its windows and peeling decals that look like they haven't had any attention in years. Great first impressions. I haven't been to Chessington for a couple of years now and currently have no intention of returning in the immediate future, but hopefully Paultons park will give them a bit of a wake up call with their new tornado springs area and take some business away so they make more of an effort.
