I think the East Anglian Transport Museum is a good fun day out.

the EATM have fully re-opened their tram track down into the woods. this is a volunteer organisation and they can still get things done quicker than Pleasurewood Hills.

tram car 1858 is back in service!!!!

Also, there is an special event comming up soon @ the east anglian transport museum called the bus + coach event, we have a free bus service running  between beccles and lowestoft and the museum with a limited Conecting bus from norwich bus station. we have tolleybuses, trains and trams all in action so come along on the 11th july for the bus and coach event down at the east anglian transport museum, if you are attending please post below.

thank you to all those whom attended our bus and coach event today we were very busy and very popular so thank you to all. over the day we had more than 600 visitors

My first time ever there on Sunday... some piccies.....

 

I use to travel on the Thrigby Hall / Broadland FM bus to school in early to mid 90's...use to pay about 20p or 35p depending on what stop I went too.....

Certainly not a bus 'fan' but I wouldn't mind having a drive of a few of those esp that 'Thrigby' decker. I too used to ride around on these in the late 80s and through most of the 90s on trips to Yarmouth and Norwich and on my town route if they were short of 'bread' vans. Lol.

I drove some of their replacements however.

I'd like the EATM to look after the miniture railway at PWH !!

I had a day out at the EATM a few years ago. What a surpise! A real trip back to days gone by and you can really get up close and on most of the exhibits !

Well our 2ft gauge line was opened to the public 40 years ago next year, but i don't think the loco from pwh would be very good, and i'd more than happily work the line at pwh.

nice that some old advertising is still on the bus' and remember riding on the  90's double decker bus' to Yarmouth and PWH smile
