I think that the sea lion show should keep the current exit/entrance and reopen the old entrance as an exit only to hel people clear away frm the area and to stop long queues forming.

I dont see how it would stop queue's? Unless you mean to have both the exits open at the same time?

yeah use the current entrance/exit as the entrance still, but at the end make the old entrance exit only along with the current one.
