Although I prefer Timber Falls to any of the previous names for the Log Flume.

Cannonball Express was a good name when it had its themeing, but it would be silly to be called that now, and I quite like the name Enigma.
Magic Mouse changed to Mouse Trap
Whilst Magic Mouse wasn't a bad name, there were about 700 Magic Mouse coasters at that time. Mouse Trap was different, and quite neat IMO.
Rattlesnake became Snake In The Grass
This coaster will always be Rattlesnake to me. Snake in the Grass is more of a fact than a name.
FK Raceway became Le Mans
Not fussed about the go-karts, both good names really, well its just nice to have some go-karts that aren't called Go-Karts.
Fantasy Boat Ride to Tales Of The Coast
I dont think that should count as just a new name, as its new ride really.
Tidal Wave Water Coaster now Wavebreaker
Not fussed about this one, Tidal Wave on its own is a good name though.
Alpine Chair Lift to Merry-go-straight
An absolutely ridiculous name (Merry-go-straight). Alpine Chairlift all the way!!
Pirate Ship to Shiver m Timbers
This again was another awful name change, so Pirate Ship for me!
Woodies Driving School to Dodgy Dodgems
Whilst Woodies Driving School was a much better name, the new name suits them better... ;)
Oh, didn't the Waveswinger have its name changed to Sky Hooks? Or Chair-o-Planes? Mmm, I'm confuesd now!
Woopsie! I forgot one:
Log Chute/Flume became Mellow Yellow (soon Timber Falls)
Mellow Yellow was another one of their awful name changes! Though Timber Falls is a really good name, see, they can come out with good names, Wipeout is an awsome name too.
Oh, and you forgot Fireball my friend, which again, is SO much better than bloody Whizzy Dizzy.

You have to remember they renamed pretty much all of the rides due to the re-branding of the park, basically saying its not the Pleasurewood you used to no, its going to be better. Which so far isn't true.
And they ain't the only park with awful names, look at Flamingoland, they have Flip Flop and Mumbo Jumbo!?!

What was the point of it in the first place, was it just because the park needed a revamp, I mean most people still know the rides by there previous names where I live.
Enigma is always "The Cannonball" Snake In The Grass is rightfully "The Rattlesnake" Mellow Yellow is just "The Flume" Shiver m Timber is still "Pirate Ship" and Wizzy Dizzy is still better known as "Fireball" and for some reason people have a habbit of calling it "The Frisbee" still :S
Now I disagree with you about Magic Mouse/Mouse Trap. All the coasters like that were called Magic bloody Mouse, so Mouse Trap was unique, nice and original. I much preffered it.
When the 'Log Flume' first arrived, it was called 'Wild Water Falls' which i thought was brilliant, also the Mouse was called 'Crazy Coaster' in its first (half) year again better IMO, despite the giant Magic Mouse lights at the top of the ride!
Yeah, 'Crazy Coaster' too. I remember it's opening day in August 2000. It didn't open until 4pm - I seem to remember the cars were getting stuck at the top of the lift hill. Then, when it was announced it was open there was a massive rush.
i cant attually be bothered to show the other names but as you can see here only one name i think is better and that is a change only in the last year!!!
Well so it has....woo! Though its just Chair Lift this time, as appose to Alpine Chairlift.
I cant quite believe that they kept them 'Alpine Chairlift' signs when it was changed to Merry Go Straight, anyone see the state of them? They must have been 15 years old, and looked worse for it too! Yet they kept them?! I hope they've gone by now....
