12/02/16 - 2016 Park Leaflet

The good people at Pleasurewood Hills have given Unofficial Pleasurewood a sneak-peek at the new leaflet for the 2016 season. Take a look... It might just confirm a few rumours that have been flying around recently!

RE: 2016 Park Leaflet

If i wasn't in the know, how would i know what Marble Madness is? It says i can ride it, but what is it? The name suggests something that spins. lol

I really hope they give the Waveswinger a new look / theme. And if continue the sell it as a old favourite that's a positive

Just need a location now, my bet is Woody's flying school

I really don't like the CGI characters on the front.... looks quote creepy.

Aside from that it's just the same old stuff again really.

Just noticed that there's a person diving on the front.... I thought it was confirmed that the diving show wasn't coming back this year?

At least it doesn't have 'FAB FUN' written all over it.

Just noticed the "new ride for 2016" has an asterix next to it..... late opening for a trailer mounted ride, really?

Depends what they're doing to it, and where they're putting it.
I don't think they're gonna unload it and just plonk it on the ground, plus it's very rare for new ride to be open by easter.

It needs to be a permanent installation. Trailer rides wil not be tolerated. ;)

Could be one or two more coaster rides on the front cover

For the first time in a few years I will not be making a visit to Pleasurewood Hills this season. I can't believe they got rid of a ride that needed a refurb for a wave swinger. They've put me off a return visit and I wonder how many others will be put off.

I'm put off too. Do we know if the tunnel for Rattlesnake has been refurbed. Or the second train for Enigma?

We'll only find out things like when the park opens and we visit.

I'm not put off, mainly out of curiosity.. on paper what they've done sounds terrible but it might not look as bad in the flesh.. lol and i try and think long term and maybe it's all for the best, depends what they do.

Not that anyone is going to miss TOTC as it was a bit rotten, but not having a boat ride is worse isn't it?

I had a season pass for the 1st time last year and to be honest it was well worth it, but now I have doubts.

Oh well, if the worst comes to the worst Thorpe park's only 3 hours away.
